Get the gold star to make your brand stand out from the crowd.

Every industry has competitors that we all have our eyes on.

To make your brand stand out from the crowd, giving yourself the wow factor, you need to face the fact that every industry is a competitive one, so long as there is an admiration for your competitors’ own vision. That’s a given though.

What makes your stand out is that provided you have a problem solver, leading the way. When facing the dilemmas that everyone else is avoiding, you have innovators that have your back, who you are reliant upon, but also you can collaborate with and push forward. What makes you stand out again, is the fact that you aren’t fearful of “trial and error” have diversity in a think tank – or an A team on board, all with their own areas of expertise.

Dissecting your business’s structure and constantly being pernickety at what might or might not be your biggest strong suit, is not the way to stand out, elimination is not the key to success to moving forward and being the best. What you can do differently is find the right solution and where everyone else slows down and gets stumped or throws their hands in the air getting fed up, placing all their eggs in a different basket to not fall flat, instead- you need to brain storm and work with what you’ve got to pin-point precisely where it didn’t go your way and confront the issue.

When it’s impossible and you run out of ideas or innovative solutions, that’s the time for your brand to widen the net, take out plan B and show your competitors, the ones you keep googling every morning, and brain storm until you come up with a solution that’s flawless, that made you want to get the ball rolling in the first place.

Pop Culture Reference.

I recall a moment in Step Up 2. (Andy? I think she’s called Andy – off to IMDB in a minute to do some fact-checking) The main girl is doing “the streets” dance contest. Near the end, their biggest competitor, smooth talkers who dance like fire win and then Andy stands on the DJ’s spins and does her whole vision speech that she’s done with all the Gangsta side and that she’s bringing it down outside in the rain. There’s a plan B if I ever saw one.
