The high priority and future generation that we leave our much loved earth to, millennials are the face of the future. With that in mind, let’s examine what the habitat of said creature is like.
A compromise of student/teenage life meets the overdone hipster subculture, with a splash of an outdated “Emo” style room but with a more upbeat high spirited attitude.
Here are the items you’d find inside the room of your average Millennial.
- Wall sockets, over flowing with extensions and chargers. Extension cords with extensions themselves, with enhanced plugs, plugged into connectors that are plugged into power banks waiting to charge our phones when they leave.
- Mail. Who needs mail hand delivered when you can pay all your bills and find out how deep your debts are at the click of a button?
- Books. Surprisingly enough, these haven’t become extinct yet. There is still plenty to love about books without going all nostalgic for the ones we were force fed in high school. When it comes down to books at home, “Coffee Table” books are a favorite for gifts and even though they are hell to lug about if we move, they are without a doubt, something we always take with us.
- Vintagey looking IKEA furniture. Deliberately Damaged: The key to this, is to be as selective as possible. It’s common knowledge that within a millennial lifestyle, is a healthy balance of old and new.
- Alcohol. EVERYWHERE. Wherever you look there is going to be some kind of aspect of alcohol. Not just in the kitchen. Lamps made out of wine bottles. Footrests made of old beer cans. In the bathroom, candles are placed snuggly into the wine bottle tops and used as a romantic decorative feature.

Your blog is HILARIOUS (and yet painfully true). Loving it!xx
